Rare Pulp Horror Swag For Sale from Necronomicon Press
Rhode Island's Necronomicon Press has uncovered a number of out-of-print publications which, for the most part, were returns from dealers and bookstores. Some are slightly damaged, others are like new.

To give everyone a fair shot at these, Necro Press has put several up for auction on eBay, with more to come in the near future. You can see these items by visiting their eBay store.

Necronomicon Press is also selling a framed work by artist Frank Utpatel at a fixed price. This is the original pen and ink by Utpatel done for Arkham House in 1963 to illustrate the cover of Lovecraft's Collected Poems. You can find this item and others in Necronomicon Press' Rare Item Sales Pages.

Necronomicon Press regularly updates their auctions and rare item sales. Check their site links on a regular basis for updates.

Necronomicon Press was founded in 1976, primarily to publish the works of H.P. Lovecraft and other authors of the horror field. Since that time the Press has issued hundreds of publications covering all aspects of the horror genre, from reprints of old fiction, non-fiction, and poetry, to printing the work of the some of the very best contemporary authors.

Necronomicon Press is rapidly approaching its 30th anniversary, and hopes to continue its tradition of ground-breaking research and discoveries for many years to come.

Tremblay & Savory Collaborate To Win Deathlings "Family Values" Fiction Contest
HWA NE member Paul Tremblay and Brett Savory's collaborative short story effort, "The Cuckoo in the Clock", has won Deathlings' "Family Values" fiction contest.

Here's the Deathlings' blurb on the story:

A first for deathlings.com--a story that was written by two authors: Paul Tremblay and Brett Alexander Savory--who are both making a name for themselves in the horror writing world. Their story "The Cuckoo in the Clock" features a now-you-see-him/now-you-don't character in a forbidding inner city alleyway, phone calls to the dead, the mystery of information that won't be shared and, finally, questioning the nature of reality itself. We found it reminiscent of one of our favorite movies: "Memento" and we promise you it will linger in your own memory long after you've read the
last word.
