Thomas Announces Late January Signing
Jeffrey Thomas - Everybody Scream-- Saturday, January 29 -- Jeffrey Thomas will sign the trade paperback edition of his new SF/horror novel EVERYBODY SCREAM! at Tatnuck Booksellers in Westborough, MA. Signing will kick off at 2:00 pm.

Synopsis of EVERYBODY SCREAM by Jeffrey Thomas
It's the final day of the season for the annual Punktown Fair and excitement is high. For the couple in charge, Del and Sophi Kahn, it's a bittersweet day of transition. Little do they realize the trials they will face and how severely this one day will test their relationship. In fact, closing day seems to be a catalyst for many Punktown residents; drawing them in, stirring them up and letting them loose on each other. This roller coaster tale builds to a peak of expectation then plummets, twisting and turning, a breathtaking juggernaut to the final pages with plenty of screams and giggles along the way.

Westfield's DARKSOME THIRST in Second Printing
Darksome ThirstHWA NE author Morven Westfield reports that the first printing of her vampire novel DARKSOME THIRST sold out after 14 months. The second printing rolled off the presses in November. Morven has been promoted the book over the summer but will take a break over the winter, when she hopes to pick up where she left off on the sequel, THE OLD POWER RETURNS.

Synopsis of DARKSOME THIRST

It's the late 1970s and Alicia Anderson is in her late 20s, riding the seductive upswing of high technology. Empowered by the new climate of equality for women, she's aiming at a career in computer programming. Alicia’s plans are thwarted by corporate bureaucracy and - to her utter confusion - a vampire.

Newly initiated wiccan priestess Matricaria has begun to receive psychic messages - vivid dreams and tarot card readings - that point to a terrible fate for someone near to her. She and her coven attempt to decipher the symbols, hoping to prevent a tragedy. Soon the lives of these very different women are drawn together.

Darksome Thirst is the first in a series of novels about Alicia and Matricaria and their battles against the unknown.

Book 2 of OUTCAST series by Golden and Sniegoski Available!
Outcast by Golden and SniegoskiOutCast: Book Two: DRAGON SECRETS can be found in the children's department.

The world they have created in OutCast is one in which everything - fire, light, transportation, cooking, even opening doors - is run via magic. Everyone in the world is connected to magic, with mages more adept, and the most skilled running nations and congregations. Everyone can do magic - that is, except for one boy.

After learning how his powerlessness can be used as a weapon in the world of magic and defeating Nicodemus's plan to overthrow the government, Timothy travels to a war-torn dimension to help the Wurm, fierce magicians and warriors descended from an ancient dragon race. But while covertly gathering information on the age-old feud between the Wurm and the Parliament of Mages. Timothy discovers a very different story--one of peaceful Wurms and a conspiracy led by the Parliament of Mages.

But that's not the only problem on Timothy's hands. The mysterious girl he spotted in SkyHaven is the granddaughter of Nicodemus, and she's challenging Leander's right to be Grandmaster of the Order of Alhazred. And despite Nicodemus's death, mages are still disappearing . . . and this time someone is painting Timothy as the villain.

Miss the beginning? Pick up Book One: The Un-Magician.
