HWA New England is a regional chapter of the national association for professional horror authors, The Horror Writers Association. HWA New England functions primarily as a networking organization for local authors.

HWA New England is open to all horror authors (novel, short story, poetry) at all experience levels. Our members include full-time, mass market authors with decades of experience as well as unpublished newcomers.

Golden & Sniegoski's OUTCAST To Be Adapted To Film

Christopher Golden Thomas Sniegoski - Outcast

According to Variety Magazine, Universal Studios plans to adapt the Christopher Golden and Thomas Sniegoski OUTCAST to film.

Charlie Mitchell(who wrote CINDERELLA MAN starring Russell Crowe) will write the script. The third OUTCAST book, GHOSTFIRE, was released in April 2005, and Book #4, WURM WAR, will land in bookstores in September 2005.

All the OUTCAST books have been published by Aladdin:

#1 The Un-Magician
#2 Dragon Secrets
#3 Ghostfire
#4 Wurm War

L.L. Soares Short Story Featured in RIGHT HOUSE ON THE LEFT

Novello Publishers will publish RIGHT HOUSE ON THE LEFT.

This anthology of "haunted house" stories features work by HWA NE's L.L. Soares, Steve Vernon, and Mark McLaughlin.

This represents Novello's second publishing release. Their first publication, TWO TWISTED NUTS, contained tales by Jeff Strand and Nick Cato.
